CARROT HALWA also known as GAJAR HALWA which is a Indian sweet made with carrot. If anyone don't like eating raw carrot this is the best to enjoy. As we all know carrot is very good for eyes and very rich in vitamins. This recipe made in different styles in different places adding special ingredients to it and make it very yummy delicious recipe. If you like to impress anyone this recipe will be impressed. For this recipe there's no need of cooking experience it's very very simple and easy recipe made in very short time.
Ingredients needed:
(1 cup = 200grams)

- → Carrot (grated) - 1 cup
- → Sugar - 1/4 cup (according to taste)
- → Cardamom powder - 1 teaspoon
- → Koya (kova, doodh peda) - 1/4 cup
- → Milk - 1-2 cups
- → Ghee - 4 teaspoons
- → Raisins (kishmish) - 10 numbers
- → Almonds - 10 numbers
- → Cashew nuts - 5-6 numbers
Preparation:
1. Heat ghee in a pan then add cashew nuts, almonds, raisins (kishmish), other dry fruits of your choice one by one after they are done take it into plate and keep aside.
2. In the same pan add finely grated carrot cook until the raw flavor is gone.
3. Add milk cook until the carrot becomes soft and transparent on a slow flame.
4. After the carrot is cooked completely then add sugar mix well until it dissolves and also add cardamom powder into it.
5. Add Koya (kova, doodh pedha) into it and mix well.
6. Garnish with the roasted dry fruits.
7. Finally the yummy delicious carrot halwa delight is ready to serve.
