Tips for your kitchen:

Today we will see tips on storing vegetables

   1. CARROT: It is very healthy and tasty. Some times they stay fresh for longer time but some times they spoil easily so now we will see how to keep carrots fresh for longer time. The reason behind spoiling of carrot is lack of moisture.
   - Instead of storing them in refrigerator you can also keep them at room temperature so here is the tip. In a glass or bowl pour some water and keep the carrots in a cool place, away from sunlight. This can keep the carrots fresh for longer time.
   - If you are storing in refrigerator wrap the carrots in a wet cloth or keep them in a paper bag in this way also they stay Fresh for longer time.
   - By cutting the green part and store them either in refrigerator or room temperature by following the above tips can keep them fresh.

   2. BELL PEPPER (CAPSICUM): This vegetable is very tasty and available in 3 colors. Every color has its own taste and flavor. Green bell pepper stays fresh for longer time but red and orange don't stay
fresh for longer time compared with green, so here are the tips to keep the bell pepper fresh, tasty and crisper.
   - Keep them in a plastic bag then store in refrigerator.
   - Slice the bell pepper then keep in the freezer for 20 mins then store in a air tight container or zip lock bag or plastic bag then store in refrigerator.

   3. BOTTLE GOURD (LAUKI): It is very easily available vegetable and has lot of water content in it. This is very healthy and also it stays fresh but if your a nuclear family and you cannot use the whole lauki at once so we try to keep it fresh but it dries out so here's the tip to keep it fresh as long as possible.
   - Store it in a wet cloth or store it in air tight container then keep in the refrigerator  and you can even keep it directly in the refrigerator.
   - If you have used half of the lauki and wanted to use rest for 2nd time and wanted to keep it fresh. Wrap the wet cloth or plastic bag to the used side then keep it in zip lock bag this keeps the lauki fresh and tasty for long time.

   4. CORIANDER LEAVES: This is mostly used for garnishing. The flavor and aroma is so good but it dries out and spoils easily even if we keep in refrigerator. Coriander needs some moisture more moisture can also spoils them.
   - After you get coriander to home juz wrap in a newspaper or paper bag tightly then keep it refrigerator.
   - In a air tight container keep some newspaper down at the bottom then store it in the refrigerator.
   - Take a small glass or bowl pour water then keep the coriander leave roots into it and cover it with plastic bag and keep at room temperature.
