How to prepare INSTANT RAVA DOSA

INSTANT RAVA DOSA a famous recipe from South Indian cuisine. The taste is so yummy, you can make this dosa into crispy version or soft version, in any way the taste is yummy. This is the simplest breakfast recipe which can be made with 3 simple ingredients and with in few minutes. You can surprise your guest with this quick breakfast recipe.

Ingredients needed:
(1 cup = 200grams)
  • → Sooji/rava/semolina - 1 cup
  • → Plain flour/all purpose flour/maida - 1/2 cup
  • → Green chilies - 3 numbers or 
  •      red chili powder - 1 teaspoon 
  • → Cumin seeds/jeera - 1 teaspoon 
  • → Curd - 1/4 cup
  • → Salt to taste
  • → Water
  • → Oil

Preparation:

   1. Take the blending jar add cumin seeds, green chilies and blend them roughly once then transfer into bowl.
   2. Add rava/sooji, maida/all purpose flour, green chili paste, salt, mix well then add curd and mix well if needed you can add water and make into dosa batter consistency.
   3. Heat the dosa pan (it should be hot), then sprinkle the batter with your hands or with spoon to get hotel style rava dosa or you can just pour the batter then add teaspoon of oil on the top, cook until it turn into golden color.
   4. Serve this hot dosa with peanut or coconut chutney or with upma or with any spicy chutney.
   5. Finally the yummy crispy, soft dosa is ready to serve and enjoy.

Tip of the day: If you like the sooji texture mix the batter instantly, prepare the dosas you'll get the sooji texture and taste. If you like crispy dosa you can roast for longer time and also you can add 2 teaspoons of rice flour into the batter or else you can directly make the dosas with the maida.
