How to make MILK POWDER BURFI

MILK POWDER BURFI is a very tasty yummy simple sweet which can be made with in few minutes. Generally burfi's are everyones favorite dessert because it's very yummy and easy sweet. For this special festival enjoy this sweet with your family and friends.

Ingredients needed:
(1 cup = 200grams)
  • → Milk powder - 1 cup
  • → Milk - 1/2 cup
  • → Sugar - 3/4 cup
  • → Cardamom powder - 2 teaspoon 
  • → Ghee - 1/2 cup
  • → Dry fruits - 1/2 cup
  • → Rose water (optional) - 2 teaspoons 
  • → Saffron (optional) - 2-3 teaspoons 

PREPARATION

   1. Heat 3 teaspoons of ghee in a pan then roast the dry fruits until they turn into golden color and transfer them into plate.
   2. In the same pan add milk, ghee, milk powder, mix well such that there should be no lumps in it.
   3. When it becomes into smooth paste add sugar, cardamom powder, rose water or saffron into it then keep stirring it until the ghee oozes out slightly then add dry fruits mix well. 
   4. Apply ghee to a plate then transfer this cooked burfi mixture into it and let it cool down for 30 mins. 
   5. Apply ghee to the knife then cut into pieces then serve, you can store this sweet for 1 week.
   6. Finally the yummy tasty quickest dessert is ready for this festival.

Tip of the day: Instead of cutting into pieces you can make them into round laddu's or any shape of your choice. You can add saffron in the hot milk, rest it for 10 mins then add it with sugar. You can add dry fruits powder to thicken the mixture faster, you can even add condensed milk this also thickens the mixture.
