How to select vegetables -PART 1

Tips for your kitchen:

Today we will see tips on selecting vegetables.

   1. POTATO/ALOO: They get roots after few days so after getting roots we cannot use them because are harmful so choice perfect potatoes and use them for longer period of time.
   - While selecting potato choose spotless potatoes because if you choose spotted potatoes they'll get roots so avoid them.

   2. TOMATO: They ripe faster and spoil easier so while choosing select the perfect tomatoes so that they'll not spoil faster.
   - Choose half ripen tomatoes and hard tomatoes so that they stay fresh for longer time.

   3. LADIES FINGER: They dry out faster when we bring them from market so choose perfect ladies finger and store them.
   - While choosing ladies finger choose thin ones and try to cut the edges with your hands if they cut easily then choose them because they are fresh if they are just bending don't choose them.

   4. EGGPLANT/BRINJAL: They dry out easily and sometimes we'll get insects inside so how to detect and select the fresh brinjals.
   - The stem should be green and there should be no holes in it so that there will be no insects in it.
