How to prepare INSTANT DOSA

INSTANT DOSA is a very tasty recipe from South Indian cuisine. Everyone love to eat and enjoy but there will be lot of process. We have to soak rice and blend it and keeping it for fermentation but from now no need to soak rice we can instantly make dosas and enjoy the taste.

Ingredients needed:
(1 cup = 200grams)
  • → Cooked rice - 1 cup
  • → Beaten curd - 1/2 cup
  • → Baking soda - 1 teaspoon 
  • → Rice flour - 1 cup
  • → Water - 1/4 cup
  • → Maida/plain flour/all purpose flour - 1/4 cup
  • → Oil for roasting
  • → Salt to taste

PREPARATION:

   1. In a blending add cooked rice, maida, rice flour, beaten curd, baking soda, water if needed blend it into nice smooth paste and transfer it into bowl.
   2. Make the batter into dosa consistency by adding water and rest it for 10 mins for aeration.
   3. Heat the dosa pan pour the batter and spread like dosa then roast it by applying oil until it turns into golden colour.
   4. Your instant yummy dosa is ready to serve and enjoy with any spicy chutney.

Tip of the day: You can use any plain cooked rice with any rice it goes yummy. If you want crispy dosas add more rice flour. If you want your dosas to be soft then add more maida than given quantity and reduce rice flour. If you don't want to eat chutney you can add green chillies or red chilli powder and any veggies of your choice and you can enjoy directly without any chutney.
