Tips for your kitchen:

Today we will see tips on selecting vegetables.

   1. CABBAGE: The outer leaf should be fresh and should be green and white in colour. Now a days in market there are chemical based cabbages are there so how to detect them and how to select them.
   - There will be a stem at the bottom that will be hard and the when we peel the leaf there should be same coloured leaf and should be connected with other leaf. The chemical based cabbage don't have a stem. So choose the stem cabbage that are healthy for you.

Don't choose this type of cabbage which don't have any stem.

   2. CAULIFLOWER: Select fresh cauliflower and store for long period if time.
   - The stem part should be hard if it is soft don't select them. The head of it should be tightly closed. No black spots on the flower that is the indication of containing some insects inside and it leads to spoiling of cauliflower.

Don't choose this type of cauliflower if they have  this type spots on them.

This cauliflower is perfect and fresh choose them.

   3. BROCCOLI: The stem part should be hard. It should be in green colour. If it is in light colour that indicates that it is not perfectly grown that may not contain that many vitamins.

This is perfect choose them.

Don't choose these type of broccoli.

   4. GREEN LEAFY VEGETABLES: Eating leafy vegetables is very healthy.
   - They should not contain any water on the leaf because that will spoil the leafy vegetables. Select the green and fresh leafy vegetables if they are slightly fade out don't choose them.

   5. CARROT: They can improve your eye sight and can bring beautiful glow in your face so choose the fresh and perfect ones.
   - If possible choose carrots with the green roots they are perfectly fresh ones, otherwise at least try to choose the green stem carrot that indicates that they are fresh.
   - Choose medium sized carrots that will be better in taste. The big sized carrots are bitter and hard to cook. Don't choose if any spots or cracks or any breakages or cut carrots.
